Your wellness matters. Through our Wellness Benefit, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and 401(k), you and your family have access to confidential counseling, resources, and support for personal, financial, and emotional challenges. You’ll also find tools to help you manage stress, improve overall health, and maintain work–life balance—all at no cost to you.

Wellness Incentives
How the Plan Works:
To earn your reward for your Annual Routine Physical:
- Take your Welch Wellness financial award form with you during your annual routine physical
- Have your physician sign and date
- Return to Human Resources
- Routine Physicals are tracked 12 months from your last physical
Human Resources will track your annual routine physical and distribute your $400 HSA reward directly into your Health Savings Account.
To earn your Wellness Activities:
- When you complete your activity, please return your activities form to Human Resources
- Human Resources will track each activity and pay out $100 per activity to a maximum of 3 or $300. All distributions are direct deposited into your Health Savings Account.
You can earn HSA employer contributions by staying healthy!
Earn wellness incentives when you participate in our wellness program. You can earn up to $700 per year when you participate in the program. All wellness rewards are direct deposited into your Health Savings Account.
The Wellness program consists of 2 parts:
- Completing your annual routine physical with your personal physician or primary care provider. Preventive care, including Routine Physicals are paid for at 100% when you use a participating network provider. When you complete your annual physical, you will earn $400
- Completing a Wellness activity: Earn $100 per wellness activity to a maximum of 3 ($100) per year.
- Taking a family member to the doctor (your spouse or your child)
- Volunteerism
- Dental Exam including routine cleaning
- Gym Membership
Associates who complete a smoking cessation class may earn a one-time reward of $100 in lieu of completing any of the other wellness activities noted in #2 above.
All Wellness Activity Rewards are direct deposited into your Health Savings Account. If you are age 65 and participating in Medicare, we cannot distribute Wellness funds into a Health Savings Account. These distributions will be made via taxable income.

Welch Packaging provides this valuable benefit to all employees and their immediate family members. Confidentiality is one of the most important features of the EAP. No one will know when you have used this resource unless you offer that information or unless someone's safety is threatened.
